A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL URGING CITY DEPARTMENT
HEADS TO PARTICIPATE IN CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS
WHEREAS, the best interest of the City of San Rafael can be
served by Department Heads participation in service clubs and, although
the City desires this participation, public funds are not now available to
reimburse said Department heads;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
Council recognizes that public interest will be served by Department
Heads joining civic organizations and hereby urges them to do so at their
own expense.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regualar meeting of the Council of said City held
on Monday the 8th day of September , 1975, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Miskimen, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Mulryan
