A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
LETTER OF AGREEMENT WITH THE MARIN MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT FOR MAINTENANCE OF A FIRE
HYDRANT INSTALLATION AT ALBERT PARK COMMUNITY
RECREATION CENTER
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf
of the City of San Rafael a Letter of Agreement with Marin Municipal
Water District for maintenance of a fire hydrant installation at the
Albert Park Community Recreation Center, a copy of which is hereby
attached and by this reference made a part hereof.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a REGULAR meeting of the City Council of
said City held on MONDAY the 6TH day of OCTOBER, 1975, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:

The District has recently been contacted by Francis Construction
Company of Santa Rosa concern.in; installation of a 6" fire hydrant
off B Street, on the northerly side of the r__:w recreation building.
1z this hydrant will be on City property off the traveled roadway
of B Stmt, ene District xrill not assur.a responsibility for main-
taining the run of pipe beyond the curb line.
In similar instances the District has worked up a simple agreement
of understanding as to where our responsibility for maintenance lies,
x.&ich in this case would be the piping from the curb line to and in-
cluding the connection at the water main on B Street.
Therefore, please li-ave the proper City officials sign and return the
original copy of this letter, the other copy may be retained for your
files.
