A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST
HAS NOT BEEN MADE RELATIVE TO THE GHIRARDO-
HANF ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, Messrs. Ghirardo and Hanf have requested the annexation
of their lands, plus adjacent lands, to the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, this annexation has been approved by the Local Agency
Formation Commission of the County of Marin; and
WHEREAS, the condition of prezoning was placed on the annexation by
the Local Agency Formation Commission; and
WHEREAS, prezoning has occured by the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, all public notices required under the Government Code have
been followed; and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council at their regularly scheduled
meeting of October 6, 1975, held a public hearing to receive any protests con-
cerning the annexation; and
WHEREAS, a majority protest was not filed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in accord with Government
Code Sections 35313 and 35313.2 that a majority protest relative to the Ghirardo-
Hanf annexation was not received by the City of San Rafael before or during the
public hearing of October 6, 1975.
I, MARION A. GRADY , City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Monday
the 6th day of October , 1975, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
