RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO
MRS. MARK LEWIS GERSTLE, JR.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Mark Gerstle, Jr. wishes to donate a beautiful
"Catalpa" tree to the City of San Rafael in memory of
her late hasband Mark Lewis Gerstle, Jr.; and
WHEREAS, it is Mrs. Gerstle's further desire to have this tree
planted in Gerstle Park to remain as an unmarked
memorial to Mark Lewis Gerstle, Jr. in the place he
so dearly loved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael expresses sincere appreciation to Mrs.
Mark Gerstle, Jr. for this lovely gift, and the
Superintendent of Parks is hereby directed to plant a
"Catalpa" tree among the other botanical specimens
which flourish so elegantly in Gerstle Park.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly in-
troduced
and adopted
at a
regular
meeting
of the
City
Council
of said City
held on
Monday
