RESOLUTION DISCONTINUING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE FORMATION OF
SANTA MARGARITA OPEN SPACE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL, MARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of June, 1974, the City Council of the
City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, adopted certain resolu-
tions, including a Resolution Approving the Boundary Map, in connection
with Santa Margarita Open Space Assessment District, City of San Rafael,
Marin County, California; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael that it may be possible to achieve the objectives of the
proposed Santa Margarita Open Space Assessment District by an approach
on the Las Gallinas Valley -wide basis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, Marin.County, California, that the proceedings for the for-
mation of Santa Margarita Open Space Assessment District, City of San
Rafael, Marin County, California, be, and they are hereby discontinued
at this time.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regular-
ly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin County,
California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 6th day of January,
1975, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
