A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING
OF A LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf
of the City of San Rafael an agreement with
Mr. Gerald A. Denman concerning occupancy of the Dollar Estate
detailed in the attached Letter of Agreement,
A copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part
hereof.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, here-
by certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a Regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on Monday the jgth day of November
19 74 , by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini

Letter of Agreement:
Occupancy of Dollar Estate
Dear Mr. Denman:
As you know, the City Council will be acting to purchase the Dollar
Estate on November 18, 1974. On that dote the City Council will
also be asked to approve a day-to-day occupancy lease between the
City and the Dollar family for occupancy of the building until the
closing of escrow.
As the present occupant of the building, the City proposes your con-
tinued occupancy under the following conditions:
1. Occupancy will be terminated as of January 1, 1975
unless extended by the City;
2. Rental for the period of occupancy will be $50.00 unless
you as occupant move prior to January 1, 1975. In this
instance the rent will be rebated on a pro rata basis;
3. All utilities will be paid by the City; and
For and in consideration of the lease of the premises as
set forth above, the undersigned occupant does hereby
waive, release and hold harmless the City from any and
all liability, responsibility or requirements of Section
7260 through 7274 of tt_ez• (-overnment Cowie pertaining
to relocation assistance provided for by the State of
California; and is fully E!waro of the sections of the
