A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DECLARING
THE RESULTS OF THE CANVASS OF THE ELECTION RETURNS
OF AN ELECTION HELD ON THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS "KNOCKNABOUL WAY ANNEXATION" ON THE
5TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1974.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation Act
of 1913, and pursuant to Resolution No. 4785 adopted by the
City Council of the City of San Rafael, on the 5th day of
August , 197 4, a special election was held on the 5th
day of November, 1974, in inhabited territory contiguous to the
City of San Rafael designated as "Knocknaboul Way Annexation"; and
WHEREAS, at said special election the following question was
submitted to the qualified electors residing in said territory:
SHALL THE TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS THE
"KNOCKNABOUL WAY ANNEXATION" BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL, AND THE PROPERTY IN SUCH TERRITORY
BE, AFTER SUCH ANNEXATION, SUBJECT TO TAXATION EQUALLY
WITH THE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL TO PAY
THE ENTIRE BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL OUTSTANDING OR AUTHORIZED AT THE DATE OF THE
FIRST PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF ELECTION, FOR THE AC-
QUISITION, CONSTRUCTION OR COMPLETION OF MUNICIPAL
IMPROVEMENTS, EXCEPTING THEREFROM THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL GENERAL OBLIGATION SEWER BONDS, APRIL 21,
1971 ISSUE.
WHEREAS, the returns of said election were duly canvassed
by the County Clerk of the County of Marin, a copy of said canvass
is attached hereto, and is hereby adopted by the City Council
of the City of San Rafael at its Council Chambers on the 18th
day of November, 1974, at its regular meeting on said day;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the canvass of said returns as adopted by the City
Council of the City of San Rafael, finds the same to be as follows:
Number of votes cast. . . . . . . . . . . .
Number of votes in favor of the annexation
of "Knocknaboul Way Annexation" to the
City of San Rafael, and shall the property
in such territory be, after such annexation,
subject to taxation equally with the property
within the City of San Rafael to pay the
entire bonded indebtedness of the City of
San Rafael outstanding or authorized at the
date of the first publication of notice of
election, for the acquisition, construction
or completion of Municipal improvements, ex-
cepting therefrom the City of San Rafael
General Obligation Sewer Bonds, April 21,

Number of votes against the annexation
of "Knocknaboul Way Annexation" to the
City of San Rafael, and shall the property
in such territory be, after such annexation,
subject to taxation equally with the property
within the City of San Rafael to pay the
entire bonded indebtedness of the City of
San Rafael outstanding or authorized at the
date of the first publication of notice of
election, for the acquisition, construction
or completion of Municipal improvements, ex-
cepting therefrom the City of San Rafael
General Obligation Sewer Bonds, April 21, 15

2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
Adopted this 2nd day of December, 1974, by the following
vote, to -wit:
