RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ADOPTING THE STATEMENT OF RESULTS OF THE SAN RAFAEL
SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION CONSOLIDATED WITH THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON TUESDAY,
NOVEMBER 5, 1974.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael by Resolution
No. 4800 ordered the consolidation of the San Rafael Special Municipal Elec-
tion with the State of California General Election held on November 5, 1974;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael by Resolution
No. 4804 requested the Board of Supervisors of the County of Marin to permit
the County Clerk of the County of Marin to render specified services relating
to the conduct of the San Rafael General Municipal Election and authorized
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Marin to request that the County
Clerk of the County of Marin be designated as the person to provide the can-
vass of the returns of said General Municipal Election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael does hereby adopt the certified abstract of the statement of
votes marked "Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on
Monday the 2nd day of December 1974, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
