A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING
OF A LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized t. execute, on behalf
of the City of San Rafael a lease or agreement with
Marin Municipal Water District - Fireline Renewal - Bungalow Avenue,
San Rafael.
A copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference ma -c a part
hereof.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, here-
by certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a
regular
meeting of
the City Council of said
City held on
Monday
the 2nd
day of December
19 74 , by the following vote, to wit:

THIS AGREEMENT, made this l3th day of November, 1974, by and between
MARIN MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, a public corporation, hereinafter called
"District", and the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, hereinafter called "Applicant",
W I T N E S S E T H:
THAT, WHEREAS, Applicant has requested a fireline extension under District's
Ordinance No, 90 to efilarge approxiniately 485 feet of 2 inch pipe westerly along Bungalow
Avemx from the intersection of McCoy Road to hydrant 4164 with 6 inch pipe, and
WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of this installation is $14,630.00.
NOW,THEREFORE, THL PARTIES HERETO DO COVENANT AN!) AGREE:
I. "file installation applied fc'tr and all work dune in connection therewith, sliall be done
by District's own forces.
2, District shall shme one-half of the cost of' instailatioij.
3, humediatcly t,ipon completion of installation, all right. title and interest in this pipeline
&h all be vustcd in District.
