RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RE-
QUESTING THE MARIN COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS TO CON-
SOLIDATE THE DIXIE SCHOOL DISTRICT GOVERNING BOARD MEMBER
ELECTION, MARIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT GOVERNING BOARD
MEMBER ELECTION AND THE MARIN COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION,
TRUSTEE AREA NO. 2 GOVERNING BOARD MEMBER ELECTION WITH
THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE
HELD ON MARCH 4, 1975•
WHEREAS, the Boards of Trustees of the Dixie School District,
Marin Community College District and the Marin County Board of Education
will hold a Governing Board Member election on March 4, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael General Municipal Election is
to be held on the same date; and
WHEREAS, the boundarites of said districts and Trustee Area No. 2
of the Marin County Board of Education fully or partially coincide with
the area encompassed by the San Rafael General Municipal Election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Marin County Superintendent
of Schools consolidate the Dixie School District Governing Board Member
Election, Marin Community College District Governing Board Member Election
and the Marin County Board of Education, Trustee Area No. 2 Governing
Board Member Election with the San Rafael General Municipal Election to be
held on March 4, 1975.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on the 2nd day
of December 19 74 , by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
