RESOLUTION WAIVING REQUIREMENT OF PAYMENT OF ACCRUED
INTEREST IN MOORING ROAD SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT,
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, MARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Official Notice Inviting Bids for the issuance
of bonds under the Improvement Act of 1911 in Mooring Road Sewer
Assessment District, City of San Rafael, Marin County, California,
provided for payment of accrued interest from the date of the bonds
to the date of pick up by the bond buyer; and
WHEREAS, the bonds are dated May 2, 1974, and arrangements
were made for the delivery of said bonds to the purchaser on May 2,
1974; and
WHEREAS, due to conditions beyond the control of the bond
buyer to wit, a strike of the lithographers handling the printing
of the bonds, the delivery date had to be moved to Thursday, May 9,
1974,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, that the requirement
for payment of accrued interest in said bond purchase proceedings
is hereby waived, and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and
directed to delete such charges from the calculation of the amounts
due from the purchaser.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
Marin County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on
the 6th day of May, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: Councilmen : None
ABSENT: Councilmen : None
