A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING
OF A LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES as
follows;
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK. are authorized to execute, on
behalf of the City of San Rafael a lease or agreement with
County for the joint preparation of a General Plan Noise Element.
A copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a
part hereof.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a

THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this day of
19711, by and between the City of San Rafael hereinafter referred to
as "City" and Lhu County of r•larin, hereinafter refurrud to as "County".
W I T N E S S E T li:
IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual promises and covenants hereinafter
contained the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows:
1. County shall conduct an investigation of the effects and means
of control of transportation source noise.
2. The County also agrees to make recommendations as to hoar
transportation source noise measurements may be taken and steps to achieve
their abatement.
3. County further agrees to contribute to the purposes of the
agreement referred to above the sum of $3,000.
4. City shall pay the County for the aforesaid services the sum
of $1,000 Said sum will be transmitted to County from City within
30 days of the date of this agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have set their hand the day
