RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
FOR
JOSEPH T. BRUSATORI
WHEREAS, JOSEPH J. BRUSATORI, Chief of Police for the City of San
Rafael., will retire after thirty-five years of distinguished
service to the citizens of this community; and
WHEREAS, it is hereby recognized that during his tenure as Chief,
JOSEPH J. BRUSATORI increased the innovation and
professionalism of the San Rafael Police Department and
contributed immeasurably toward elevating the stature
of those who have had the opportunity of working under
his guidance and leadership; and
WHEREAS, CHIEF BRUSATORI'S high standards, integrity, fairness
for justice and courage have gained him the respect and
admiration of his fellow officers and numerous colleagues
of other law enforcement agencies throughout the County
of Marin and State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby expresses sincere appreciation and
extends to JOSEPH J. BRUSATORI abounding wishes for
a healthy and happy retirement, while retaining the high
hopes that this outstanding Chief of Police will continue
to utilize his valuable knowledge and expertise to main-
tain the quality of life so essential to safety and welfare
of our residents.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City held on Monday the 15th day
of July , 1974, by the following vote,
