A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL REQUESTING THE
MARIN COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO AUTHORIZE THE
COUNTY CLERK TO RENDER SERVICES REGARDING THE SPECIAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 1974.
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael intends to hold an election on
Tuesday, November 5, 1974, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 22003 of the Elections Code, the City
of San Rafael may request the Board of Supervisors to permit the County
Clerk to render specified services to City of San Rafael relating to the
conduct of the election on a reimburseable basis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of San Rafael as follows:
1. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Marin is hereby
requested to authorize the County Clerk to render the following specified
services for City of -San Rafael relating to the conduct of the Special
Municipal election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 1974.
Voter indexes
Voter count by precinct
Polling place cards
Drayage and rental of polling place equipment
Stuffing and mailing of sample ballots and inserts
Printing of sample and official ballots
Printing of measure and arguments
Appointment and notification of election officers
Rental of precinct polling places
Procurement of precinct supplies
Training of precinct workers
Processing of absentee ballots
Canvass of votes cast
2. That the City Clerk of the City of San Rafael be and is hereby
ordered and directed to file a copy of this resolution with the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Marin.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday ,
the 19th day of August , 1974 by the following vote, to -wit:
