HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4805RESOLUTION NO. 4805 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL SETTING FEES PURSUANT TO TOW CAR BUSINESS AND OPERATORS ORDINANCE'.' WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 10, Chapter 10.84, Section 10.84.030 (F), the City Council of the City of San Rafael is authorized to set the rates to be charged for towing services; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 10, Chapter 10.84, Section 10.84.030 (H), the City Council is authorized to set a fee for the processing of the application provided for in Chapter 10.84. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: The City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby establishes the following fees for towing services pursuant to Section 10.84. 030 (F) : A. Fees for normal tow within five .miles or fifteen minutes TILE PERIOD CHARGES (i) 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. $17.50 (ii) 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. 21.50 (iii) 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. 25.00 B. TOW AWAY ZONE TOWS: (i) $13.50 with no storage charge for that day. (ii) $ 5.00 additional for locked steering and/or transmission. (iii) $ 5.00 show up if no tow is made. C. STORAGE: (i) $ 3.00 per calendar day for outside storage. (ii) $ 3.50 per calendar day for inside storage. D. ADDITIONAL CHARGES: (.i) Dollie tow - $15.00 in addition to regular tow fee. (ii) $20.00 additional per hour for labor winching time, waiting time, clean-up, etc. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby sets the fee of $.25.00 for the processing of the applications as set forth in Chapter 10.34.030 (H). I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly in- troduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held on the 13_day of August , 1974, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini NOES: COUNCIL14EN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None Dated: August 19th , 1974.
