RESOLUTION REMOVING ONE (1) FOOT NON -ACCESS STRIP, FORTY
(40) FEET IN LENGTH, FROM THE NORTHWESTERLY TERMINUS OF
WESTWOOD DRIVE AS SHOWN ON THE RECORD SUBDIVISION MAP OF
"WESTWOOD UNIT ONE"
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Planning Commission and City Council
have heretofore approved the subdivision map of "Westwood Unit One";
AND 'WHEREAS, said subdivision map of "Westwood Unit One" was
recorded on May 18, 1955, in Vol. 8 of Maps at Page 59, Marin County
Records;
AND WHEREAS, the Record Subdivision Map of "Westwood Unit One"
in the City of San Rafael, shows a one (1) foot non -access strip adjacent
to the northwesterly terminus of Westwood Drive;
AND WHEREAS, Meadowhill Corporation has requested that said one
(1) foot non -access strip, forty (40) feet in length, be removed from the
northwesterly terminus of Westwood Drive to provide access to adjacent
parcel of land;
AND WHEREAS, the San Rafael Planning Commission, on February
5, 1974, approved Subdivision Action S 73-25, creating said parcel of land
subject to removal of said one (1) foot non -access strip;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that that certain one (1) foot non -
access strip, forty (40) feet in length, adjacent to the northwesterly
terminus of Westwood Drive shown on the Recorded Subdivision Map of
"Westwood Unit One" be and the same is hereby removed.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on the
19th day of August 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Nixon
