RESOLUTION AMENDING PROCEEDINGS RELATING TO
MAXIMUM INTEREST RATE ON BONDS, EAST SAN
RAFAEL DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 2,
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, MARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of California has
adopted urgency legislation providing for an increase in the maximum
interest rate on municipal bonds from seven per cent (70) to eight
per cent (8%) per annum, and said legislation has been signed by the
Governor of the State of California and is now effective,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, as follows;
That, all proceedings, reports and resolutions in the
East San Rafael Drainage Assessment District No. 2, City of San
Rafael, Marin County, California shall be and are hereby amended to
specify a maximum rate of eight per cent (8o) per annum on improve-
ment bonds to be issued.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
Marin County, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th
day of October, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Jensen Miskimen & Mulryan
NOES: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen Nixon & Mayor Bett i n i
