A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
REGARDING CAMPAIGN FILING FEES FOR ELECTED CITY OFFICIALS
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of February, 1973 by Resolution No. 4402,
the City Council of the City of San Rafael set the filing fees for the
officials of San Rafael at $25.00, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to permit all persons
interested in filing for an elective office in the City of San Rafael to do
so without any hardship, and
WHEREAS, the matter has come before the City Council on the 7th day
of October, 1974, and after due discussion and consideration the following
resolution is hereby adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael resolves that there shall be no filing fee required for any
candidate seeking an elective office in the City of San Rafael.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on
Monday, the 7th day of October, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
