RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND DIRECTING
CALL FOR BIDS FOR
SANITARY SEWER RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT - PHASE II
PROJECT NO. WS -CALIF -358
WHEREAS,
City Engineer, of the City of San Rafael, California, presented to the City
Council of said City and filed with the City Clerk thereof, Plans and Specifi-
cations entitled SANITARY SEWER RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT -
PHASE II
PROJECT NO. WS -CALIF -358
and WHEREAS, said City Council has examined and considered said plans and specifi-
cations and the same appear to be in all respects correct and proper;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDERED AND RESOLVED that said plans and specifi-
cations be and the same are hereby approved as the official plans and specifi-
cations for doing said work;
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER ORDERED AND RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of said City be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be published in a manner
provided by law a notice inviting sealed proposals for doing said work, which
said notice shall contain among other things required by law, a statement of the
time and place hereby fixed and appointed for opening, examining and declaring
said proposals, to -wit: 10:00 o'clock A.M. on Friday,
the 14th Day of January, 1972

in the City Hall, on Fifth Avenue in said City.

the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday the
20th day of December 1971 , by the following vote, to -wit:

office publicly opened and read aloud.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond,
Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following:
Department of Public Works, Room 301
City Hall, San Rafael, California
Copies may be obtained at the office of City Treasurer, Room 204 located at
City Hall, San Rafael, California upon payment of $ 25.00 for each set.
Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such set promptly and in good condition, will be refunded his payment,
and any non -bidder upon so returning such a set will be refunded $ 10.00
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The Owner has
budgeted the amount of $610,000.00 for construction of this project.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in
the Information for Bidders.
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed
and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
