RESOLUTION HONORING ANGELINA J. SOLDAVINI
UPON HER RETIREMENT FROM THE OFFICE OF
CITY TREASURER,
WHEREAS, CITY TREASURER ANGELINA J. SOLDAVINI has devoted her
entire working years to the service of the City of
San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the citizens of San Rafael, confident of her outstand-
ing honesty, integrity and ability to be entrusted
with public funds, have elected and re-elected "Angie"
to four consecutive - unopposed - terms of office as
City Treasurer, in 1959, 1963, 1967 and again in 1971;
and
WHEREAS, after a forty-four year career, both unique in length
and quality, she has chosen to retire from the office
of City Treasurer on the 31st day of January, 1972.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby commends ANGELINA J. SOLDAVINI
for exceptional service and extends sincere good wishes
for happiness in future years knowing that her retire-
ment will be graced by a sense of accomplishment and
satisfaction that she has faithfully and diligently
fulfilled her oath of office.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly in-
troduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City held on Monday, the 17th day of January,
1972, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Barbier, Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor
Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
