RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF AGREEMENT WITH
SAN RAFAEL SCHOOL. DISTRICT AND ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE
OF GLENWOOD STORM WATER PUMP STATION SITE AND
FIFTEEN FOOT STORM SEWER EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the area surrounding the Glenwood School has for many
years suffered severe flooding problems; and
WHEREAS, to alleviate these problems the San Rafael School District
has constructed a pump station on the property described in Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, the District is not staffed to properly maintain said
pump station; and
WHEREAS, City, through its Public Works Department, can operate
and maintain this facility for the mutual benefit of the school site and
the surrounding neighborhood, and City is willing to undertake this
responsibility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the MAYOR and CITY CLEP:( are authorized to execute, on behalf of
the City of San Rafael an Agreement with SAN RAFAEL SCHOOL DISTRICT, a copy
of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a part hereof.
2. That the City Council of the City of San Rafael, California, does
hereby accept that certain Grant Deed for ani on behalf of the City of San
Rafael and the real property described therein, all as more particularly
described and set forth in Exhibit "A" attached to said Agreement and
incorporated herein by reference, and the Clerk of said City is herehy
directed to cause said deed to be duly recorded in the Office of uhe County
Recorder of the County of Marin, State of California, forthwith upon the
adoption of this Resolution.
3. That that certain grant of right-of-wav for the maintenance, repair,
reconstruction and renewal of public storm sewer, as described and set forth
in Exhibit- "A" attached to said Agreement and incorporated herein by refere:ice,
be and the same is hereby accepted and the Clerk of said City is hereby
directed to cause said conveyance to be duly recorded in the Office of the
County Recorder of the County of Marin, State of California, forthwith upon
the adoption of this Resolution.

I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday ,
the 3rd day of April 1972, by the following vote,
to -wit:
