RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
WELCOMING MASAMI TAKAGI
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael sends greetings to the City of
Tsuruga, Fukui, Japan and sincerely welcomes one of
its outstanding students, MASAMI TAKAGI; and
WHEREAS, it is through fine student exchange programs such as
sponsored by the Civic Center Lions International,
and the warm hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kane
of 56 Marina Court, that makes possible a greater
rapport and understanding between the youth of both
nations.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Rafael asks
all citizens of the community to extend every courtesy
to MASAMI TAKAGI so that his visit with us will be
mutually productive as well as gratifying.
I, MARION GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly in-
troduced and adopted at a special meeting of the Council
of said City held on Monday, the 24th of July, 1972 by
the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Barbier, Jensen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Miskimen
