RESOLUTION NO. 4290
RESOLUTION O F THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL ADJUSTING THE SALARY
RANGE FOR CLERICAL CLASSIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council has directed that the salary
ranges for all clerical classifications be adjusted effective September 1,
1972; and
WHEREAS, those incumbents whose present salary range
exceeds the newly established range, for which she/he is classified, will
be placed in a "Y" rated salary range as follows:
Y8 Secretary
Y7 Account Clerk II
Y7 Steno Clerk II
Y6 Typist Clerk II
Y6 P. B.X. Operator
Y5 Steno Clerk I
Y5 Account Clerk I
Ya Clerk

IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the "Y" rated salary range
be frozen and may not increase until the last step of the newly created
salary range exceeds the last step of the said "Y" rated salary range.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adjourned
adopted at a 4regular meeting of the Council of said City held on Monday,
the 1 1 th day of September , 1972 by the following vote to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Barbier, Miskimen and Mulryan and
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None Mayor Bettini
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
