RESOLUTION NO. 4299
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF CERTAIN
ROAD MATERIALS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1972-73 AS ENUMERATED
AND SET FORTH ON THE AGREEMENT ATTACHED HERETO AND INCOR-
PORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE
WHEREAS, sealed bids or porposals were received by the City
Council for the furnishing of Road Materials for the Fiscal Year 1972-
73 and all such bids or proposals were publicly opened, examined and
declared; and
WHEREAS, the bid or proposal of McPHAIL'S, INC. ,
at the quotation stated in their bid, were and are the lowest responsible
bidder or proposal received on the items listed in said agreement; (Bricks,
Ready Mix Concrete and Asphaltic Emulsions)
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized to execute said agreement that is attached hereto on
behalf of the City with said successful bidder in accordance with the terms,
specifications, and general provisions of said agreement and bids or pro-
posals.
I, MARION A. GRADY , City Clerk, hereby certify, that the fore-
going resolution was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting of the City
Council held on the 2nd day of OCTOBER , 1972 by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Barbier
