RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONVENING
OF A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING WITH THE
SAN RAFAEL REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO
CONSIDER A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael has been informed
by the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency that a Redevelopment Plan for the proposed
Central San Rafael Redevelopment Project has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency has submitted, or shortly will
submit a copy of the Plan to this Council for its review; and
WHEREAS, there is a need for a joint public hearing with the Redevelopment
Agency to consider the Plan, and to have interested groups and citizens be heard
on the Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, California;
1. The City Council approves the convening of a joint public hearing
with the Redevelopment Agency on October 26, 1972, at 8:00 p.m. in the City
Council Chambers for purposes of cgnsidering the aforesaid Redevelopment Plan.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish in cooperation with the
Redevelopment Agency the attached "Legal Notice - Joint Public Hearing" not less
than once a week for four successive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation
published in Marin County.
