CONSENT CALENDAR
Member Thayer moved and Member Cohen seconded, to approve the recommended action on the
following Consent Calendar items:
ITEM RECOMMENDED ACTION
1. Approval of Minutes of Special Joint Budget Approved as submitted.
Meetings of July 7, 8 and 12, 1993 and Regular
Meeting of January 3, 1994 (AS)
2. Authorization of Relocation Expenses for 20/20 Resolution No. 94-3 -
Optical (RA) File R-339 AUTHORIZING RELOCATION EXPENSES
FOR 20/20 OPTICAL IN AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $107,449.83

The following item was removed from the Consent Calendar for discussion:
3. REPORT ON BID OPENING AND AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE COLOR PLOTTER FOR GIS MAPPING
SYSTEM (GEN. SVC) - File (SRCC) 4-2-278 x (SRRA) R-140 x R-103
Member Zappetini stated the report indicated the cost of the outside services is
between $25 and $35 per sheet and asked what percentage of that would be a savings.
Assistant Executive Director (Public Works) David Bernardi answered that it will
cost us approximately $15 per sheet to produce.
Member Heller moved and Member Cohen seconded, to adopt Resolution authorizing
purchase of Hewlett Packard Color Plotter from AEC Technologies in the amount of
$8,955.00
RESOLUTION NO. 94-4 - AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A NEW COLOR PLOTTER FROM AEC
TECHNOLOGIES FOR CITY'S DRAINAGE SYSTEM MAPPING PROGRAM IN
THE AMOUNT OF $8,955.00

AGENCY CONSIDERATION
4. DISCUSSION OF NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM (NPDES) PROGRAM (PW)
- File R-340
Assistant Executive Director (Public Works) David Bernardi requested to modify the
recommendation because the Redevelopment Agency is not authorized to fund the entire
amount of this program because they do not cover the entire City, noting it would be
only appropriate for the Agency to fund that part of the program within the Agency
boundaries. Mr. Bernardi asked for conceptual approval of the program, and the
exact amount will be brought to the meeting of February 7, 1994.
Member Zappetini moved and Member Thayer seconded, to agree to the National
Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Program in concept and to bring the item back
to both the Redevelopment Agency and City Council on February 7, 1994.
