RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
DECLARING INTENT TO COMMIT CITY MATCHING FUNDS FOR TOPICS
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of
San Rafael
desires to participate
in a City -County project involving installation of raised pavement markers on
various city and county roads; and
WHEREAS, the County of Marin is acting as coordinating agent for
itself and the cities and will administer said TOPICS Project; and
WHEREAS, the Project shall be funded by Federal TOPICS Funds in
a ratio of 71.54% Federal Funds to 28.46% Local Agency Funds; and
WHEREAS, the estimated total expenditure on roads within the City
of San Rafael is estimated to be $ 3,700.00 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council hereby agrees
that its appropriate budget accounts shall reserve the sum of $ 1,053.00
as local matching funds for said Project.
I, MARION A. GRADY , Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City held
on Monday the 26th day of February 1973,
by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
