RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
WELCOMING HOME
CAPTAIN WILLIAM W. BUTLER
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN WILLIAM W. BUTLER has been
and is an officer of the rank of Captain in the United
States Air Force; and
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN BUTLER has been a Prisoner of War in
North Viet Nam for in excess of five years; and
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN SUTER has distinguished himself in ex-
ceptionally meritorious service to, and sacrifice for
his Country; and
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN BUTLER has been released and returned
to his wife and family at his residence in San Rafael.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael unanimously, on behalf of all the
residents of San Rafael, welcomes home CAPTAIN
WILLIAM W. BUTLER and extends to him, and his
wife and family, best wishes and well being in future
years.
I. MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council
of said City held on Monday, the nineteenth day of March,
1972 by the following vote, to -wit:
