RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
FOR
LISA JO MORRISON
WHEREAS, LISA JO MORRISON, after challenging the many conten-
ders, was elected Governor of the Model Legislature
during the YMCA's 25th Annual Youth in Government
Conference in Sacramento, February 1st through 4th,
1973; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Morrison was the second female in the history of
the Model Legislature to receive this honor; and
WHEREAS, the official family and citizens of San Rafael are ex-
tremely proud of this very remarkable and versatile
teenager who also serves as Vice President of Marin
Catholic High School Student Body, President of the
Ski Club and is a talented participant in the annual drama
activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby
commends LISA JO MORRISON for her many outstand-
ing achievements and recognizing the great resources of
youth, urges Ms. Morrison continued involvement in
government which is so essential to the future of this
community.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of
said City held on Monday, the second day of April, 1973
by the following vote, to -wit:
