RESOLUTION AGREEING TO TRANSFER TERRITORY FROM
THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL TO THE TOWN OF ROSS
WHEREAS, public access to certain properties now within the City
of San Rafael is available only from the Town of Ross; and
WHEREAS, some of the property owners involved have indicated a
desire to transfer their property from the City of San Rafael to the Town
of Ross and
WHEREAS, the Town of Ross by Resolution No. 921 requested that
the said prpperty be transferred from the City of San Rafael to the Town
of Ross;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Rafael here-
by resolves as follows:
1. The City of San Rafael hereby applies to the Local Agency
Formation Commission and the Board of Supervisors to trans-
fer from the City of San Rafael to the Town of Ross certain
properties described generally as Marin County Assessor's
Parcels 12-081-10, 12-081-11, 12-081-12, 12-081-24, and
12-081-26.
2. If approved by the Local Agency Formation Commission the
Board of Supervisors is requested to undertake proceed-
ings to complete this transfer.
3. A certified copy of this resolution shall be delivered to
the Local Agency Formation Commission, Town of Ross, and
to such other agencies requesting same.
PASSED AND ADOPTED a a regular meeting of the City Council
oftthe City of San Rafael on the 16thday of April , 1973, by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, and Mayor Bettini.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Ione.
