RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
SETTING BAIL FOR PARKING METER AND OVERTIME PARKING
METER VIOLATIONS.
WHEREAS, at a regular and duly held Council meeting of
June 21, 1971, the City Council for the City of San Rafael, by
motion, increased the bail on parking meter violations from $1.00
to $2.00 and on overtime parking from $2.00 to $3.00; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Court of the Central Judicial District
of the County of Marin, requires a resolution rather than a motion;
and
WHEREAS, said increase has been approved by the City Council
on June 21, 1971, and approved by the Judicial Council of the Municipal
Court on December 31, 1971.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bail for parking
violations are hereby set at $2.00 and overtime parking meter vio-
lations at $3.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution is passed nunc
pro tunc vis-a-vis, now as if then, to -wit: June 21, 1971.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
held on the 7th day of May , 1971 , by the following vote,
to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Mi ski men, Mu 1 rya n, Nixon and Mayor Betti ni .
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
