RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
URGINP THE COUNTY OF MARIN TO PROCEED WITH THE NORTH BAY
FRONT PARK TENNIS AND SWIM -COMPLEX.
WHEREAS, the Marin County Parks and Recreation Department
has proposed to the Board of Supervisors for the County of Marin
funding for the initial development of a tennis and swim complex
commonly known as the North Bay Front Park; and
WHEREAS, said complex is located directly adjacent to the
City of San Rafael;. -and
WHEREAS, said development would benefit the citizens of the
County of Marin and the citizens of the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael is in
favor of said North Bay Front Park.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael does hereby urge the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Marin to proceed with the development of the North Bay
Front Park.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
held on the 7th day of May, 1973, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES; COUNCILMEN: Miskimen, Mulryan, Jensen, Nixon and
Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
