RESOLUTION REMOVING ONE (1) FOOT iNON-ACCESS STRIP FROM
THE SOUTHERLY TERMINUS OF DE ANZA WAY AS SHOWN ON THE
RECORD SUBCIVISION f1AP OF "TERRA LINDA VALLEY"
WrERCEAS, the San Rafael Planning Commission and City Council have hereto-
fore approved the subdivision map of "Terra Li .rida Valley"; and
WHEREAS, said subdivision map of "Terra Linda Valley" was recorded on
July 10, 1959 in Vol. 10 of f,,aps at Page 34, i lari n County Records; and
WHEIREAS, the Record Subdivision i;ap of "Terra Linda Valley" in the City of
San Rafael, shows a forty (40) foot long one (1) foot non -access strip
across the southerly terminus of De Anza Way; and
WHEREAS, Hendrika J. Slager has requested that said one (1) foot non -access
strip be removed to allow development of a single-family residence on a 3.55
acre parcel adjacent to and southeasterly of the southerly terminus of
De r.nza Way; and
WHEREAS, said one (1) foot non -access strip would preclude access to the
proposed improvements on said parcel; and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Planning Commission did, on April 10, 1973, recommenu
to the City Council ghat said one (1) foot non -access strip be removed pro-
vided the parcel is used for one single-family residence;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said certain fort] (40) foot long one (1)
foot non -access strip across the southerly terminus of De Anza Way as shown
on the Recorded Subdivision ilap of "Terra Linda Valley" be and the same is
hereby removed.
