RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
SETTING' CHARGE'S AND COSTS' OF 'REDEMPTION OF- IMPOUNDED ANIMALS.
WHEREAS, Section 6.10.150 of the Municipal Code of the City
of San Rafael provides that the City Council shall set the charges
and costs of redemption of impounded animals; and
WHEREAS, the Marin County Administrator's Office has requested
that those fees be increased; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is in accord with those recommendations.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the charges and costs of
redemption of an impounded animal shall be as follows:
(a) $10.00 for the first impound;
(b) $15.00 for the second impound;
(c) $25.00 for the third impound;
(.d) In addition to any of the above, a charge of
$1.50 per day for the keeping of said animal.
This resolution shall become effective July 4, 19.73.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City
held on the day of 1973, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Mi skimen, Mul ryan, Nixon and Mayor Betti ni .
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
