RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
FOR
EDWINA CODONI
WHEREAS, after forty years as an outstanding educator, thirty-
eight of which were with the San Rafael School Dis-
trict, EDWINA CODONI will take her well-deserved
retirement; and
WHEREAS, during this vivacious lady's remarkable career in
the teaching profession, she has served as principal
of the "B" Street School, West End School, Sun
Valley School, Short School, Las Gallinas School,
and presently the Coleman School; and
WHEREAS, EDWINA CODONI'S enthusiasm for learning and con-
tagious zest for living has motivated both children
and parents alike, instilling within them the great
value of education and the very real importance of
"people liking each other".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
the City of San Rafael hereby commends and thanks
EDWINA CODONI for those many tireless years of
devotion and effort which have contributed toward the
betterment of this community and extends to her sin-
cere and best wishes for a healthy and happy retirement.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael„ hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meet-
ing of the Council of said City held on Monday
the 4th day of June, 1973 by the following vote,
to -wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN .i-nsen, Miskiman, Molryan, Mixon and
NOES: Mayor Betti ni
