RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION TO UNDERTAKE
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT PROCEEDINGS AND SETTING TIME AND
PLACE OF HEARING THEREON, EAST SAN RAFAEL DRAINAGE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 2, CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, INIARIN
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin
County, California, has adopted a map showing the boundaries of pro-
posed East San Rafael Drainage Assessment District No. 2, City of
San Rafael, Marin County, California, which said map is entitled,
"Proposed Boundaries of East San Rafael Drainage Assessment District
No. 2, City of San Rafael, Marin County, California;" and
WHEREAS, the owners of more than sixty per cent (60%)
of the real property within the boundaries of said proposed assess-
ment district have waived all investigation proceedings under the
Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931 and have requested that said Act shall not be applicable
to these proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, as follows:
1. That Monday, the 18th day of June, 1973,at the hour
of 8:30 o'clock P.M. of said day, is hereby fixed as the day and
hour, and the meeting place of the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, located in the Council Chambers of the City of San Rafael,
1400 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael, California, as the place, when and
where any and all persons interested may appear and show cause why
the City Council should not find and determine that -the public con-
venience and necessity require the said proposed improvements and ac-
quisitions to be made in said proposed assessment district, without
compliance with the provisions of the Special Assessment Investi-
gation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931.
2. The time and place of hearing shall be given in

accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 590 of the City Council
of the City of San Rafael.
