RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR STRUCTURAL REPAIRS TO THE
CARNEGIE MING OF THE SAN RAFAEL PUBLIC LIBRARY
WHEREAS, a notice inviting sealed proposals for structural repairs to
the Carnegie wing of the San Rafael Public Library was published as required
by law; and
WHEREAS, only one bid was received and that bid was over the budgeted
amoL1!1t; and
WHEREAS, the Library Board has passed a resolution :o reject the bid
because it was over the budget, and also recommended that the: drawing be
revised and resubmitted for bids;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of $25,977 submitted by the
firm of Zoellner Construction Company is hereby rejected and the City Clerk
is directed to return the bond accompanying said bid.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting of
the City Council held on the 4th Day of June, 1973, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Jensen, Miskimen, Muilyan, Nixon and Mayer Bettini
NOES: Councilmen: Pone
ABSENT: Councilmen: None
