RESOLUTION SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING
FOR DETERMINING PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
IN TERRA LINDA VALLEY (OAK HILL) OPEN SPACE
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, MARIN
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin
County; California, has adopted a map showing the boundaries of
proposed Terra Linda Valley (Oak Hill) Open Space Assessment District,
City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, which said map is entitled,"
"Proposed Boundaries of Terra Linda Valley (Oak Hill) Open Space Assessment
District, City of San Rafael, County of Marin, State of California;"
and
WHEREAS, the owners of more than sixty per cent (60%)
of the real property within the boundaries of said proposed assess-
ment district have waived all investigation proceedings under the
Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931 and have requested that said Act shall not be appli-
cable to these proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of San Rafael, Marin County, California, as follows:
1. That Monday, the 16th day of J'uiy, 1973, at t�`ie hour
of 8:00 o'clock P.M. of said day, is hereby fixed as the day and
hour, and the meeting place of the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, located in the City Hall, 1400 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael,
California, as the place, when and where any and all persons inter-
ested may appear and show cause why the City Council should not
find and determine that the public convenience and necessity require
the said proposed improvements and acquisitions to be made in said
proposed assessment district, without compliance with the provi-
sions of the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and

Majority Protest Act of 1931.
2. The time and place of hearing shall be given in accord-
ance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 590 of the City Council
of the City of San Rafael.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and re.gularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
Marin County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the
18th day of June, 1973, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: Councilmen None
