RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
PROPERTY FROM RUBIN GLICKMAN AND JEROME
MEISLIN, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF -FUNDS
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of March, 1973, the City
of San Rafael entered into an Option Agreement with RUBIN
GLICKMAN and JEROME MEISLIN for the purchase of certain
property known as Las Colindas Unit 11; and
WHEREAS, said option is to expire on the 5th day
of July, 1973; and
WHEREAS, it is in the interests of the City of
San Rafael and desired by the City Council that the property
referred to as Las Colindas Unit 11 be purchased as open
space; and
WHEREAS, certain funds are available from the
Terra Linda Community Services District reserve and open
space bond issue funds for said purchase, and unless said
option is exercised, the property may not be available at
some future date:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
1. It hereby elects to exercise the option en-
tered into between RUBIN GLICKMAN and JEROME MEISLIN and
the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL for the purchase of the property
known as Las Colindas Unit 11.
2. The City Manager of the City of San Rafael is
hereby authorized to negotiate for the purchase of said
land, for an amount not to exceed $75,000.00.
3. The amount to be paid for said land shall
first be paid from the reserve funds of the Terra Linda

Community Services District; and any funds needed over and
above those reserves shall be paid from the general obliga-
tion open space bond assessment funds.
I, 14-ARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on the 18th day of June, 1973,
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen NIXON, JENSEN, MISKIMEN, MULRYAN,
and MAYOR BETTINI.
NOES: Councilmen NONE.
ABSENT: Councilmen NONE.
