RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION
FOR
THOMAS R. O'TOOLE
WHEREAS, THOMAS R. O'TOO LE has faithfully and conscien-
tiously served as a member of the San Rafael Plan-
ning Commission for the past eleven years; and
WHEREAS, having lived in San Rafael his entire life, Commissioner
O'Toole was able to give an air of historic authority to
the Planning Commission with his past knowledge of the
City, and surrounding area, which was of great value
and assistance to his fellow members; and
WHEREAS, it should be noted that Commissioner O'Toole was in-
strumental in initiating construction of the sidewalk
area along Francisco Boulevard, thus eliminating an
extremely dangerous pedestrian hazard which had
existed for many years; and
WHEREAS, he had always given generously of time from both his
business and personal life in performance of his civic
responsibilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael hereby commends THOMAS R.
O'TOOLE and extends deep appreciation for devoted
service to the citizens of this community.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Council of said City held on,�a" the
