RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS FOR A
FILL PERMIT
WHEREAS, The Citv Council of the City of San Rafael has
authorized execution of an option agreement with McKeon Construction Company
for the purchase of 1.56 acres located at Canal Street and Kerner Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, said option aqreement specifies that the City take
immediate possession, and fill and turf the property for a park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of San Rafael
shall hereby apply to the Corps of Engineers for a fill permit for the said
property.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the
16th day of July, 1973, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Jensen, Mulryan and Acting Mayor Miskimen
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT: Councilmen: Nixon and Mayor Bettini
