A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING
OF A LEASE OP AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES as
follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on
behalf of the City of San Rafael a lease or agreement with
Survival, Inc. (in relation to recycling)
A copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference made a
part hereof.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on MondaX the 20t_
day of August , lg 73 by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made this 20th day of August _, 1973,
by and between the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, a municipal corporation,
hereinafter referred to as "City", and SURVIVAL INCORPORATED, a
California corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Survival".
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, City desires to have information and technical and
consulting services in relation to recycling; and
WHEREAS, Survival is in the business of recycling certain
types of refuse and is in the position to supply such technical
and consulting services and to provide the City with the recycling
of certain types of refuse.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed as follows:
1. Survival shall provide City with any technical and con-
sulting services City may require for the fiscal year 1972-73.
2. Survival may collect certain types of refuse for recycling.
Any collection points established in the City of San Rafael shall
be approved by the City Manager.
3. City shall pay to Survival for the fiscal year 1972-73,
for such technical and consulting services and the recycling of
certain types of refuse, which provides a valuable service for the
citizens of San Rafael, the sum of $ 1500.00
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
Agreement the day and year first above written.
