RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ACCEPTING EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, The City of San Rafael has negotiated for and ac-
quired a certain easement, commonly described in Exhibit A attached
hereto, the Deed of Easement, located in the City of San Rafael,
County of Marin, California; and
WHEREAS, said Deed has been executed by the owners thereof
naming the City of San Rafael as Grantor thereof.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael hereby accepts said deed of easement on behalf
of said City.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly in-
troduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said

DEED OF EASEMENT
FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of being granted a connection to
Anderson Road in the City of San Rafael, said connection being for
the benefit of the real property situate in the City of San Rafael,
County of Marin, State of California, and more particularly described
as follows:
Parcel "B" as shown on that certain map entitled, "PARCEL
MAP OF PARCEL 1 OF PARCEL MAP FILED IN BOOK F001, PAGE
007, O.R. being a portion of Rancho Punta De Quentin,
Marin County, California," filed July 28, 1966, in Book 1
of Parcel Maps, at page 23, Marin County Records.
we, EDWARD J. GRADY, VIRGINIA GRADY, ROBERT B. GRADY, BERNICE GRADY,
RICHARD P. GRADY, WILLIAM E. GRADY, KEITH R. GRADY and SHEILA GRADY
POWELL,hereby grant to the City of San Rafael all of our right,
title and interest in and to the following described easement
located in the City of San Rafael, County of Marin, and more par-
ticularly described as follows:
A right of way over the former Northwestern Pacific
Railroad Right of Way, 60 feet in width, lying South-
westerly of and adjacent to the above described parcel
of land and extending Northwesterly from the Southwesterly
extension of the course "South 390 26' West 339.59 feet"
as set forth in the above described parcel of land to the
Southwesterly line of Simms Street.
This conveyance is on the express condition that the
undersigned grantors shall not be required to participate in the
construction and/or improvement of the said Anderson Road under East
