RESOLUTION OF APPR!,,C:ATION
FOR
NORRIS M. RAWLES
WHEREAS, NORRIS M. RAWLES has demonstrated exceptional service and
leadership over the past twenty years, having distinguished
himself as the City of San Rafael's first Director of Public
Works; and
WHEREAS, his outstanding ability has continually improved the function-
ing and effectiveness of the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, his unending and indefatigable energy has contributed im-
mensely toward making San Rafael a most enjoyable community
in which to live,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Rafael hereby
reluctantly accepts the resignation of NORRIS M. RAWLES and
extends to him sincere and genuine best wishes for happiness
and well-being in his future retirement years.
I, MARION A. GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the council of said City held on Monday
the 3rd day of December , 1973•
