RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGES IN THE WORK TO
BE I-A.DE BY THE CITY ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL, MARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA IN MOORING ROAD
SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, CITY OF SAN RAFAEL,
M.ARIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Rafael,
Marin County, California, as follows:
The City Engineer without further authorization of the
City Council is hereby authorized to order changes in the work to
be done in Mooring Road Sewer Assessment District, City of San Rafael,
Marin County, California, under the following conditions:
To correct clerical and technical errors in the plans;
To modify the design of the project wherever good
engineering practice indicates that the modification
should be made;
To adjust the design of the project to utility loca-
tions, soil conditions, and other field conditions
which were unknown or uncertain at the time the plans
were prepared.
HOWEVER, the City Engineer shall not be authorized to approve
change orders resulting in the increase in construction costs ag-
gregating more than the amount of contingencies provided for in the
Amended Engineer's Report heretofore approved by this City Council.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Rafael, Marin
County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 21st
day of January, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: Councilmen None.
ABSENT: Councilmen None.
