RESOLUTION NO. 4669
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FROM THE COUNTY ROAD FUND
OF THE COUNTY OF MARIN PURSUANT TO SECTION 2106 ET SEQUITUR OF THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
WHEREAS, the County of Marin and Cities within the County have
heretofore entered into an "Agreement for Improvement of Urban Thoroughfare
System", dated January 17, 1967, and
WHEREAS, the City of San Rafael has a project for reconstruction
and widening of Fourth Street and the Miracle Mile, from Marquard Avenue to
the westerly City Limits, including traffic signals and channelization;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of San Rafael does
request the County of Marin to allocate and authorize to be paid to the
City of San Rafael upon completion of said construction, fifty percent (50%)
of the cost of the project or the sum of $170,000.00, whichever is the lesser
SUM.
I, MARION A. GRADY Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a Regular meeting of the Council of said
City held on the FEBRUARY day of 4TH 19_7A_, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini.
NOES: COUNCILMEN None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN None.
