RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR BREATHING APPARATUS COMPRESSOR
WHEREAS, sealed bids or proposals were received by the City Council
for the furnishing of Breathing Apparatus Compressor(Air Purification System)
and all such bids or proposals were publicly opened, examined and declared;
and
WHEREAS, the bid or proposal of Halprin Supply Company,
3804 South Broadway Place. Los Angeles, CA at the quotation stated in
his bid, was and is the lowest responsible bidder or proposal,
Now, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City with the success-
ful -bidder in accordance with the terms, specifications, and general pro-
visions of said bid or proposal.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other bids or proposals are hereby rejected
and the City Clerk is directed to return all accompanying certified checks,
cash, and bond of said unsuccessful bidders.
I, MARION GRADY, City Clerk, hereby certify, that the foregoing resolu-
tion was duly introduced and adopted at a meeting of the City Council held
on the 4th day of February , 19 74 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini.
NOES: Councilmen: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen: None.
