Absent: Paul M. Cohen, Councilmember

1.INTERVIEW OF APPLICANTS TO FILL VACANCY ON MARIN COMMISSION ON AGING (CC) -
File 199
Council interviewed the following applicants to fill the unexpired term on the Marin Commission
on Aging, due to death of Commissioner Richard Rector; term to expire the end of June,
1997;
Rhoda Wadler
Dan Beittel, M.D.
Marjorie Belknap, M.D.
Candace del Portillo
After discussion, Councilmember Zappetini moved and Councilmember Heller seconded, to appoint
Dr. Dan Beittel to fill the vacancy on Marin Commission on Aging; unexpired term to expire
the end of June, 1997.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Heller, Phillips, Zappetini & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
