1.INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL TWO TERMS ON THE
BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES - TERM TO EXPIRE END OF APRIL, 2001 (CC)

Council interviewed the following applicants to fill two vacancies on the Board
of Library Trustees:
Robert Barnett
Karen Christopher
Glena Coleman
Noel Perkins
Richard Swiderski
Councilmember Cohen moved and Councilmember Phillips seconded, to reappoint Glena
Coleman to a 4 year term on the Board of Library Trustees; term to expire end
of April, 2001.
AYES: COUNCIL ERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCIL ERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL ERS: None
After discussion, Councilmember Phillips moved and Councilmember Heller seconded,
to appoint Karen Christopher to a 4 year term on the Board of Library Trustees;
term to expire end of April, 2001.
AYES: COUNCIL ERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCIL ERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL ERS: None
2.INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL THREE TERMS ON THE
CULTURAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION - TERMS TO EXPIRE END OF APRIL, 2001 (CC)

Council interviewed the following applicants to fill three vacancies on the Cultural
Affairs Commission, after noting that Phyllis Thelen was unable to attend the
interview due to vacation plans, but was still interested in serving. Also,
Sunita Dutt did not appear for her interview.

After discussion, Councilmember Cohen moved and Councilmember Miller seconded, to
reappoint Linda Spackman and Phyllis Thelen to 4 year terms on the Cultural
Affairs Commission; terms to expire end of April, 2001.

NOES: COUNCIL ERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL ERS: None
After further discussion, Councilmember Cohen moved and Councilmember Heller
seconded, to appoint Karen Christopher to a 4 year term on the Cultural Affairs
