1.INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL SEVEN POSITIONS ON THE BUDGET
OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE - Terms to be Staggered: Three One-year Terms, Two Two-year
Terms, and Two Three-year Terms (CC) - File 9-2-48
Council interviewed the following eight applicants to fill seven positions on the
Budget Oversight Committee:
Albert Barr
Gerald DeKerchove
Judy Denning
Jack Devlin
John Grasham
Kurt Rosenthal
Mick Spilsbury
Charles H. Stuckey
After discussion, Councilmember Cohen moved and Councilmember Heller seconded, to
appoint Albert Barr, Gerald DeKerchove, and Charles H. Stuckey to one-year terms,
to end of July, 1998; Judy Denning and Mick Spilsbury to two-year terms, to
end of July, 1999; and Jack Devlin and John Grasham to three-year terms, to
end of July, 2000.
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCIL ERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL ERS: None
Council agreed full terms in the future will be for three years.
2. INTERVIEWS OF APPLICANTS AND APPOINTMENTS TO FILL TWO FOUR-YEAR TERMS ON THE DESIGN
REVIEW BOARD (ARCHITECT AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT) - Terms to Expire End of June,
2001 (CC) - File 9-2-39
Council interviewed the following applicants to fill two four-year terms on the
Design Review Board:
Kurt Gettman, Architect
Peder Pedersen, Landscape Architect
Councilmember Miller moved and Councilmember Phillips seconded, to reappoint Peder
Pedersen, Landscape Architect, and appoint Kurt Gettman, Architect to four-year
terms on the Design Review Board, to end of June, 2001.

NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
